This special Office Hours session features three panels linking innovation, federal policy, and local advocacy:

Capitol Hill Leaders - Hear from Dr. Alma S. Adams (NC-12), a trailblazing advocate for arts education and HBCUs, and other Members of Congress and staff about how federal policy is shaping the future of arts education—and how advocates can ensure lawmakers prioritize equitable access.
 

State and Local Advocates - Learn winning strategies from the field with powerhouse leaders:

• Nelle Stokes, Founding Executive Director, Magic Box Productions
• Lynn Tuttle, Executive Director and CEO, American String Teachers Association

National Perspective - Adrian Anantawan,violinist and AFTA’s Johnson Fellow, will share his cross-disciplinary work developing adaptive musical instruments and expanding access to music-making for all students.
