Announcing NDEO's 2025 National Awards Recipients - Our National Award Recipients were selected from a 2-part application and nomination process, adjudicated by NDEO's Advisory Council National Awards Advisor and their Committee. This year, NDEO is honoring 22 individuals and 4 organizations. The Award recipients will be honored both virtually (Sept. 25 & 26) and in-person at NDEO's National Conference in Detroit.

If you are a dance student with big goals, the National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA) can help you accomplish them! NHDSA is an honor society, just like those you may be inducted to at your school for math, music, or foreign languages. Unlike other honor societies, though, you do not need to be part of a school-based dance program to be inducted into NHSDA! NHSDA Chapters can be set up at dance studios, community centers, and performing arts organizations in addition to K-12 schools and colleges.

The U.S. Department of Education has issued a for the program, which is the only dedicated federal funding source for arts education, including dance, media arts, music, theatre, and visual arts. Applications are due August 25, 2025.
